OUR PROJECT TEAM.

Our team will be led by Rakesh Bhatnagar, President of HPD. Rakesh is a leader in procurement services with over 30 years of corporate procurement executive experience. He has personally handled numerous new construction and renovation projects across the country including Mississippi, Missouri, Iowa, Colorado, and Nevada. Rakesh will be supported by two major task managers: Thomas Bohnett who has over 30 years of executive experience in project management, procurement and logistics, and Anu Bhatnagar, who has over 17 years in Hotel Operations and project management at major resorts in Las Vegas. Rakesh, Thomas and Anu form the core of our procurement team.

Rakesh Bhatnagar is the Founder for Hospitality Procurement and Design. With nearly four decades of industry experience, Rakesh has continually been one of the most sought-after executives for procurement services. A graduate of the distinguished University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Hotel Administration Program, Rakesh first began his career on the Las Vegas Strip in 1975, working with legendary hotels such as the Las Vegas Hilton, Sands and Expo Center, and Stratosphere to his latest venture as Vice President with Affinity Gaming.

ANU Bhatnagar

Anu Bhatnagar is the Operating Director for Hospitality Procurement and Design. Anu is a Las Vegas native and a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Hospitality Management Program. With nearly two decades of working on the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip, Anu has worked for some of the biggest hotel and gaming resorts in the world Including Mandalay Bay Resort, Mirage, Planet Hollywood and Caesars Palace. His experience stretches from gaming and marketing to hotel administration.

Thomas D. Bohnett

Thomas Bohnett was the founder of Tamarind II, an independent purchasing firm, based in Las Vegas, NV. With over forty years of procurement experience, working for numerous hotel and gaming properties around the country, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

SUPPORTING STAFF

  • Senior Buyer, former Senior Buyer at JW Marriott, Las Vegas, has over 10 years’ experience in procurement.

  • Buyer, with over 10 years’ experience in accounting, finance, and procurement
